ATOMOS Tools publishes browser utilities, tool documentation, and practical guides. This page explains how we decide what to build, how we test functionality, and how factual statements are reviewed.

Tool testing

Each tool is tested with representative valid inputs, empty inputs, boundary values, and common invalid inputs. Tests focus on whether the interface responds correctly, whether results are understandable, and whether the tool creates unexpected network requests. Browser capabilities vary, so tool pages describe important limitations.

Content research

Stable technical concepts are explained using primary documentation and standards where practical. Search and advertising guidance should be checked against current Google documentation before major changes are published. We do not copy competitor articles, descriptions, examples, or page structures.

Review and corrections

Pages are reviewed when a tool changes, when a linked standard changes, or when an error is reported. Material errors should be corrected promptly. Revision dates are displayed on guides and policy pages where appropriate.

Limitations

Calculators provide estimates, and browser tools may be constrained by device memory, browser support, or file size. ATOMOS Tools does not provide legal, financial, medical, tax, or security guarantees.

Bundled open-source components

The QR Code Generator bundles QRCode.js locally under the MIT License. The license text is included at /assets/QR_CODE_JS_LICENSE.txt. The tool does not need a third-party QR generation API.

PDF editing component

The PDF Editor uses the browser build of pdf-lib, an MIT-licensed JavaScript library for creating and modifying PDF documents. It is loaded from a version-pinned CDN URL on the PDF Editor page. The PDF content itself is edited in the visitor's browser.
